  • Why NF instead of RO?

    NF can achieve real selective filtration(It can effectively remove most contaminants and retains the Ca2+, F- and other essential mineral ions beneficial to human bones and teeth.  RO is a non-differential filtration (all the beneficial and harmful minerals are removed)

  • What are the advantages of Hollow-Fiber nanofiltration membrane compared with Traditional Spiral-wound Nanofiltration products?

    1.  Exremely Low Pressure –NÜF Hollow-Fiber NF filtration system can be directly used under tap-water outlet pressure without any water pump system.

    2.  Unique Hollow-Fiber Design - NÜF Hollow fiber structure makes flow channel more open and improves fouling resistance, reducing scaling tendency.

    3.  Super High Flow Rate- NÜF hollow fiber membrane’s flux is higher than conventional NF flat sheet ones. so  NÜF modules can be more condense vs. traditional ones.

  • What is Extremely low pressure?
    0.1-0.4MPa(1 to 4 Bar), which is the normal tap water pressure.
  • Why use hollow fiber structure ?

  • How high is the super flow ?
    For example, based on dimension (L mm x D mm) of typical RO residential membrane, which is our N80-1812-200 model, NÜF TPFP membrane can achieve 200GPD (0.5L/min) under 0.31MPa(3.1Bar) or 500GPD(1.3L/min)under 0.48Mpa(4.8Bar) while conventional RO membrane can only achieve the maximum 100GPD(0.25L/min) under 0.48MPa(4.8Bar) or higher pressure.
  • What is hollow fiber NüF made of?

    1.   NÜF hollow fiber is made from TPFP modified polyamide. There are three-layer structures: base layer, support layer and hydrophilic separative nano-film.

    2.   This innovative membrane material has unique molecular structure design, which offers NÜF material excellent properties - hydrophilicity, Anti- oxidation , high strength, high temperature tolerance compared to standard flat sheet Nano filtration and Reverse Osmosis membrane.
